Buffalo Bills at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 things to watch in Week 4

Raiders defensive line getting some push on Sunday

The Raiders defensive line has been struggling to put pressure on opposing quarterbacks since Khalil Mack left for the Bears. Clelin Ferrell was supposed to change that, but he hasn’t in the traditional way, though he is still improving in Year No. 2.

Ferrell is a fantastic rush defender even if he doesn’t get the sacks the fans want. Sometimes the best plays don’t show up on the stat sheet. Maurice Hurst has been the Raiders’ top-ranked defensive lineman and the most balanced defender on the line so far.

He’s been able to have some good run stops and some good pass rushes.

Maxx Crosby has been playing very well too. Last season’s team sack leader is taking off where he ended last season. Crosby had two sacks last week against New England, and will need to continue to get that pressure to make Josh Allen make mistakes.

The Bills offensive line has been playing very well opening holes for Devin Singletary and the Bills offense, making this a matchup to keep an eye on. They’ve also provided some good pass blocking giving, Allen some good time to make key throws in the comeback last week.

In this game, it’s important for the Raiders to get off to a good start and never let the Bills get back into the game.
