The Las Vegas Raiders fell short against the Buffalo Bills but battled to the very end, here are the studs and duds from the first loss at Allegiant Stadium

It was another difficult afternoon for the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 4 that was eerily similar to the Week 3 loss to the New England Patriots. The Buffalo Bills, just like the Patriots, jumped out to an early lead thanks to the Raiders offense sputtering in the red zone but thanks to a last second score in the second quarter, both games were close at half time.

Then just like in Week 3, the AFC East team got rolling and the Raiders shot themselves in the foot with turnovers and unforced errors and were unable to keep up. Finally, just like in Week 3, the game against Buffalo was essentially decided thanks to a fumble from Derek Carr in the pocket once the pass rush was amped up.

It was the second week in a row that the Raiders were playing from behind for essentially the whole game and it has proven to be a recipe for disaster so far this season. The defense in particular has struggled to get stops when most needed and the offense is still going through some growing pains thanks to injuries along the offensive line and at wide receiver.

The Raiders are now officially a .500 ball club and things don’t get much easier as they travel to Kansas City next week and face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after the Week 6 bye. For now let’s focus on Week 4 and see who showed up for the Silver and Black and who didn’t.
