3 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will beat the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5

Chiefs run defense

For how good the Chiefs defense has been this season, not allowing more than 20 points in any single game, they can be beaten on the ground. In fact, teams are averaging 5.3 yards per carry against he Kansas City front, which is music to Raiders star running back Josh Jacobs‘ ears.

Teams have been stacking the box against Jacobs, especially with Ruggs and Bryan Edwards out, so that has affected how he looks on the stat sheet. However, as Raiders fans know, games are not won just on individual stats, and his impact on this game is going to go way beyond how many yards he accumulates.

The bottom line is, a beatable Chiefs run defense is going to have a hard time with the hard-running Jacobs, who could be in for a 100-yard game in this one. The Raiders need to feed him the ball early and often on Sunday, keeping Patrick Mahomes and this elite Chiefs offense off the field for as long as possible.
