The Las Vegas Raiders go into Kansas City and shock the NFL, world beating the Chiefs 40-32 in an upset win as they head into their Bye Week.

The Las Vegas Raiders, led by quarterback Derek Carr, went into Kansas City and put up 40 points for the first time since 2000, got their first victory against the Chiefs since 2017, and first in Arrowhead since 2012.  It was a huge win with the bye week coming up and the Raiders coming off two straight losses, but the defense answered the call in big moments, and the offense went score to score with the Chiefs in the first half before pulling away in the second half.

Carr played lights out against a team that has plagued him throughout his entire NFL career.  After a shaky start, it seemed like it was going to be a typical game against the Chiefs, but he came back strong with two long touchdown passes, a 59-yarder to Nelson Agholor, and a 72-yard catch and run to Henry Ruggs III, and after one half the score was tied 24-24 with the Raiders getting the ball back in the second half.

In fact, Carr threw for three touchdowns in the second quarter alone, keeping the Raiders in it, before coming away with an eight-point victory against their division rival. The defense stepped up when needed, holding the Chiefs to only eight points after the break, as the Raiders shocked the football landscape for the second time this season.

As we look to put a bow on this incredible victory for the Raiders, let us take a look at the Studs and Duds from Sunday’s win.
