4 Las Vegas Raiders who have played surprisingly well in 2020

Nick Kwiatkoski

Nick Kwiatkoski was the second-biggest named linebacker that the Raiders brought in this offseason, as they looked to revamp the entire group. The biggest name, Cory Littleton, has yet to live up to his billing as a top free agent signing, but Kwiatkoski is proving that when he is on the field, he is a difference maker.

Kwiatkoski has missed time due to a pec injury, but in true tough-guy fashion, he has returned to the lineup in a big way. Him being back in the middle of the Raiders defense makes them tremendously better in the run game, and he proved that he is a guy who can play sideline to sideline against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Having solid linebackers has long been a bugaboo for the Raiders, and if Littleton can get his season moving in the right direction, the team may have something here.

Of course there are several other players who are playing well this season, as the Raiders wouldn’t be 3-2 while playing only teams with winning records for far this year if there wasn’t. However, I believe these four players have made the biggest contributions to the teams success so far this season, and without a couple of mistakes against the Bills, Las Vegas would be 4-1 heading into the bye week.  The rest of the schedule for the Raiders is ranked as the easiest in the NFL I’m looking forward to watching these three continue to contribute in 2020.
