Schedule gets easier after the bye week

Looking ahead, a monster game is up first after the bye week, as Carr will look to show the world that the Raiders were right by sticking with him, and not going after Tom Brady. Once a coverboy on a Las Vegas newspaper, Brady is the current signal-caller for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who invade Allegiant Stadium on Sunday night in Week 7.

For Brady, he has had an up and down first season in Tampa Bay, but he still has what it takes to be one of the best in the game. After the Bucs game, the Raiders will have to go on the road to take on the Cleveland Browns, who have looked good this season, but it gets easier after that.

Outside of a home game against the Kansas City Chiefs, the Raiders have very winnable games against the Los Angeles Chargers, Atlanta Falcons, Indianapolis Colts, and New York Jets. They still have to play the Chargers and Denver Broncos twice, but they are not as good as advertised this season, and there is also a home game against the Miami Dolphins in Week 16.

Overall, the Raiders have positioned themselves to make a serious playoff run this season, but they also got out to a fast start in 2019, so finishing is key here.
