The Las Vegas Raiders defense stepped up big time in Week 5 against the Kansas City Chiefs, but our latest 2021 NFL Mock Draft continues the revamp on that side of the ball.

We have come to the Bye Week of the 2020 NFL season for the Las Vegas Raiders, who have put themselves in position to make a serious playoff run this year. Wins against powerhouse teams like the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs have proven that when healthy, the Raiders can play with anyone, and the schedule gets a bit easier up ahead.

In fact, with injuries plaguing a lot of teams in front of them on the schedule, the playoffs have gone from seemingly impossible after back-to-back losses to the Buffalo Bills and New England Patriots, to a real possibility. Quarterback Derek Carr is playing at an MVP level, silencing his critics along the way, and we saw what 2020 first rounder Henry Ruggs III means to this offense last weekend.

As we sit and await the next Raiders clash, a primetime battle against Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers net Sunday night, it is time to look at a potential preview of next April’s NFL Draft. The Raiders currently hold six selections in 2021, and they still have plenty of holes to fill, especially on defense.

Using the Draft Network’s Mock Draft machine, here is our latest 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft for the Las Vegas Raiders.
