Las Vegas Raiders 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft continues revamp on defense

. Safety. Orange . Andre Cisco. 79. player. 445

We all know the kind of talent that Johnathan Abram brings to the table, as he is an Alpha in the middle of the Raiders secondary, and is only going to get better. Last weekend, Jeff Heath came in and played well alongside of him, but looking at the 2021 NFL draft class, there is talent to be had at the safety position.

One such player is Andre Cisco, who is being mocked everywhere from the first round, to the third, and the Raiders grab him with the 79th overall pick here. Cisco opted out of the 2020 college football season to get ready for the draft, and is a ballhawking safety who racked up 12 interceptions during his time with the Orange, while twice earning All-ACC accolades.

Edge. Nittany Lions . Shaka Toney. 116. player. 806.

The Raiders still need help coming off the edge, and at pick No. 116, they bring in the second part of the Jayson Oweh/Shaka Toney duo. Toney is a fifth-year senior for the Penn State Nittany Lions, and last season, he racked up 6.5 sacks, as he continues to get better every season.

Toney has the speed an athleticism that the Raiders need coming off the edge, and would be a nice addition to the likes of Maxx Crosby, Clelin Ferrell, and Arden Key moving forward. Carl Nassib has not been great since signing his free agent deal, and if the Raiders decide they want to add more talent coming off the edge next April, getting Toney in the fourth round would be quite a steal.
