5 players the Las Vegas Raiders should trade for before trade deadline
Julio Jones has shown that he can still be a top wide receiver in the NFL, but he is in a bad situation in Atlanta, and he has a bit of a nagging hamstring injury right now that is holding him back. The Falcons are struggling to win games right now, and it would make sense for them to try to add draft picks by moving on from Julio Jones.
With Julio Jones being 31 years old, he is not worth a first round pick anymore, but it is hard to see the Falcons moving on from him for anything less than at least a second round pick. Jones would be able to take this offense to the next level. Watching Derek Carr dominate defenses with Nelson Agholor, Henry Ruggs, and Hunter Renfrow is impressive, but when Ruggs has not been on the field, the offense has struggled.
If the Raiders had Julio Jones, the offense could still thrive if Ruggs is not in the game, and could be the best passing game in the NFL when Jones and Ruggs are both on the field. As good as the Raiders offense is looking, at some point defenses are going to be able to stop Agholor, and can focus on Ruggs, so the Raiders will need to add another piece to the group to reach their full potential.
