5 players the Las Vegas Raiders should trade for before trade deadline

At 22 years old and a ton of potential, it does not make sense for the Jets to deal Quinnen Williams, but there have been rumors over the last week that the Jets were shopping him. Williams was drafted third overall in 2019, one pick before Clelin Ferrell, but has not had a huge impact since landing in New York.

On the stat sheet, Williams does not blow anyone away with just 52 tackles, 4.5 sacks, eight tackles for a loss, and eight QB hits, but when you watch the film and see the impact he has had on the New York defensive line, it is clear why he was selected so early. Coming to Las Vegas, he would learn under an elite position coach in Rod Marinelli, helping to get his career on track.

The Raiders could use a solid, young defensive tackle in the middle of the line to take the spot that Maliek Collins was supposed to fill. With this trade, Williams would be surrounded by a lot more young talent than he was in New York, and should help him reach his full potential, similar to the Steelers and Minkah Fitzpatrick situation last season.
