The Las Vegas Raiders take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 7, and here is our game preview and prediction for Sunday’s matchup.

Derek Carr and the Las Vegas Raiders roll into Week 7 on the back of a bye and a stunning victory over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5. Sitting at 3-2, now it’s time to see if this Raiders team can become more consistent rather than a hit or miss on a weekly basis.

One thing that has troubled me about this Raiders team, not just this season but last as well, is that one week they can come through in the most glorious of ways, but then the next week they completely flop when you had high expectations for them.

Put more simply, the Raiders have now gained a reputation for winning the games they’re supposed to lose and losing the games they’re supposed to win. So, in turn, that makes this week’s matchup all the more intriguing and tough to make a call on.

Last time we saw these Raiders, they were about as great as we’ve seen them in years. Their first round pick of Henry Ruggs paid off as the rookie wideout caught a long touchdown pass- something the Raider envisioned when they drafted him; being able to match speed-for-speed, tit-for-tat with a high-powered offense like the Chiefs.

This week, however, I’m not exactly sure what to expect from them.
