How the Las Vegas Raiders stack up against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Offense
Here we have a battle of two prolific offenses. Well prolific in points scored. Although sometimes number do lie, the 29.5 points scored per game for the Bucs can be attributed more to the stout defense they possess. Tom Brady has been a bit above average thus far in terms of passing numbers, but it is Tom Brady, and one thing he is known for more is winning.
Add in his many receiving weapons, and also running back Ronald Jones II ,who is top five in rushing yards, the Bucs pack quite a potent offensive punch.
The Raiders were criticized very often in 2019 for a conservative, and at many times, dull offense. 2020, well that is another story. The Raiders offense is rated sixth in yards per game at almost 400 per, and sixth in points at over 30.
If Brady was ever mentioned as a replacement for Carr, Raider Nation should be plenty grateful that this decision was not made. Carr is sixth in passing yards per game, and finally got over the hump of playing away at Kansas City.
With a healthier core of receivers led by tight end Darren Waller and rookie receiver Henry Ruggs, the Raiders too pack a potent punch and have a dependable running back in second-year man Josh Jacobs.
So with that being said, who has the edge here? Well when it comes to the offenses of both, the Raiders definitely have the edge so far this season.
