Week 7 of the 2020 NFL season is upon us, and the AFC West is still up for grabs. Here are the predictions for the AFC West games on Sunday.

As the NFL tries to navigate a full season through a pandemic, we have seen our fair share of ups and downs along the way. In terms of the AFC West, there have already been issues due to COVID-19, with teams having to move games, and some key players coming down with the illness through the first six weeks of the season.

Still, here we are, and there is a full slate of AFC West games this weekend. Here are the picks for Week 7’s AFC West slate.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers decided to replace Philip Rivers with a first round quarterback this offseason, and since Justin Herbert took over under center, he has looked every bit the part of a franchise quarterback. On Sunday, he will try to take down Gardner Minshew and the Jacksonville Jaguars, a team that is headed in the wrong directions.

Herbert should find it easy to sling the ball all over the field in this one, as he continues a rookie season that has really turned heads. The Chargers are home, and a big favorite against the Jaguars, and they should be able to take care of business, ending what has been a miserable four-game losing streak.

Prediction: Chargers 27, Jaguars 20
