DT Quinnen Williams – New York Jets

Quinnen Williams is an unlikely trade candidate at this point but he would be an incredible get for the Raiders if they do make it happen. Williams was drafted 3rd overall by the New York Jets in the 2019 NFL Draft and he has improved significantly since and is one of the more talented young defensive lineman in the league.

The Jets would be waving the white flag on Williams if they decide to move him in an attempt to get more assets to help in their future rebuild as they march towards a possible 0-16 season. Williams could be a future building block and is due just around $8 million over the next two years but they may choose to flip him for picks for the next head coach to rebuild.

The Raiders would have to give up significant draft capital for this move but it would be an immediate upgrade on the interior of the defensive line. The Silver and Black may decide that the juice is not worth the squeeze for Williams and the Jets may decide to keep him but trading for him would be a massive statement of intent that they are done rebuilding and want to win now.
