The AFC West got a little more interesting on Sunday, with the Los Angeles Chargers winning, and the Raiders and Broncos losing.

The Kansas City Chiefs dominate in a interdivisional battle against the Broncos, the Raiders lose big to an old foe in a new home, and a rookie quarterback gets the first win of his career in a interesting week 7.

As we look into each matchup, one thing is for sure, this is a division that can beat anybody on any given Sunday.

Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs continued to dominate the division, as they took down the Denver Broncos in a snow game on the road 43-16.  Patrick Mahomes did not carve up the stat sheet, but it did not matter in this one, as they dominated throughout.

Drew Lock continues to struggle as a starter, ending the game with two interceptions and zero passing touchdowns.  The Chiefs actually scored three offensive touchdowns with Chad Henne getting in the mix with a rushing touchdown, and they also got a return touchdown off a Brandon McManus missed field goal.

Los Angeles Chargers

The Los Angeles Chargers rookie quarterback Justin Herbert got his first NFL win in a 39-29 victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars.  After playing well in consecutive weeks since the team doctors punctured former starters Tyrod Taylor’s lung while giving him a shot before the Chiefs game a couple of weeks ago, Herbert finally got his win.

He has played against some of the better teams in the NFL and kept coming up just short before Sunday’s double digit win.  Herbert continued his impressive play on Sunday as he passed for 347 yards three touchdowns ran for another 66 yards and a score.

Late in the game it seemed like the Jaguars were going to steal this game away from the Chargers yet again, but Herbert and the Chargers defense did enough to pull out the victory.
