Recapping AFC West action in Week 7 of the 2020 season

Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders entered this game with a couple of question marks on the offensive line with the entire starting group and safety Johnathan Abram being put on the COVID-19 list earlier in the week.  Abram and starting right tackle Trent Brown sat the game out as the rest of the line were able to play.

The game started out well for the Raiders, as they were able to go down the field and score, as Derek Carr hooked up yet again with Nelson Agholor for a touchdown.  Tampa Bay, led by Tom Brady and a ferocious defense took over the game, had the Buccaneers up by 11 points heading into halftime.

Midway through the third, the Raiders had a chance to secure a stop and hopefully take a lead late in the game when they had the Bucs on a 3rd and 13.  A check down to a running back and some soft coverage played by the defenders led to a first down on that play and the Buccaneers never looked back.

The Raiders defense struggled once again and offered very little resistance to the Bucs passing game as they allowed their highest point total of the year with 45 points.
