The Las Vegas Raiders were defeated at home by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and many players struggled but some stood out with their high level of play

The Las Vegas Raiders were riding high after a big win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 5 but were brought back to earth through a combination of positive COVID-19 tests and the sheer might of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Starting RT Trent Brown was ruled out after testing positive for the virus and starting safety Johnathan Abram was ruled out due to coming in contact with Brown during the week.

These absences may not have decided the game on Sunday but the Raiders already faced the tough task of taking on one of the best teams in the NFC and had to do so without two of their starters. Despite the absences, the Raiders played well for most of the game and kept it close until the fourth quarter, but the Bucs were simply too much for them to handle.

After a loss it’s much easier to point out where the team failed, and there were several players who did just that, but there were also a players that played well despite the result. Let’s take a look at the Raiders’ studs and duds from the Week 7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
