Las Vegas Raiders close to getting back to full strength

Big names returning

In Week 8, the Raiders will see a familiar face return to the lineup, as star safety Johnathan Abram has cleared COVID protocol and has rejoined his team. In addition, starting right tackle Trent Brown should be able to get back in the mix, as he will be allowed back into the facility Friday, and should be ready to go on Sunday against the Browns.

Both of those guys are huge additions heading into this matchup, and they will be followed likely the following week by three other starters. On offense, guard Richie Incognito is coming off of injured reserve, and wide receiver Bryan Edwards returned to practice on Wednesday.

Defensively, the return of Damon Arnette is going to help out this secondary immensly, as he is certainly starting to look like a legitimate starting cornerback at the NFL level.

With their full collection of talent on both sides of the ball, the Raiders have enough to compete with any team in the NFL. They have a way to go in terms of their defense, but getting Arnette back is going to help, and we already know their offense can put up points with anybody.
