Tight Ends

Darren Waller – Start ‘Em

Darren Waller is having a much different season than 2019 in that he is not putting up the same yardage totals but is catching just as many passes and has already scored as many touchdowns as he did last year. He continued his touchdown catching prowess at the goal line with a one-yard score in the third quarter and caught 6 passes but for just 60 yards.

Regardless of the yardage totals, Waller is a threat to score every time he touches the ball and is getting a ton of targets to justify his fantasy value every week. He and Agholor had a team high nine targets on Sunday and unlike his receiver counterpart, no one is asking for him to be targeted less to give more targets to other tight ends.

Weather is always a concern as stated multiple times but the Browns are the 30th ranked pass defense in the NFL and their linebackers give up around a 77% completion rate. If Waller gets matched up on them then expect him to put up another big week.

Jason Witten/Foster Moreau – Sit ‘Em

It is officially time for the Jason Witten experiment to end as the veteran tight end has looked poor in receiving and blocking situations. He can still get open from time to time but he was a liability as a blocking tight end and his snaps need to go to Foster Moreau. Neither are relevant fantasy-wise but Moreau is the far better option and needs to play more.
