In the only AFC West battle of Week 9, the Las Vegas Raiders will travel to Los Angeles to take on Justin Herbert and the Chargers.

The 2020 NFL season is rolling along, and despite a bunch of hiccups along the way, the games keep on rolling on. This week, there is an AFC West battle between the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers, while Kansas City will play host to the Carolina Panthers, and Denver will travel to Atlanta to take on the hapless Falcons.

Here is a look at the Week 9 slate in the AFC West.

Carolina Panthers at Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs will play host to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, and they could have their hands full against Teddy Bridgewater and company. The Panthers are getting star running back Christian McCaffrey back, and coming off an injury, he should be ready to go against the reigning Super Bowl champions.

Unfortunately for the Panthers, the Chiefs still have Patrick Mahomes and his cast of weapons to go up against, and in the end, they will prove to be too much. I like the Panthers to keep this one close, with the Chiefs only winning by a Harrison Butker field goal late in the game.

Prediction: Chiefs 24, Panthers 21
