The Las Vegas Raiders make their way south to take on the Los Angeles Chargers and we tell you whether to sit em or start em in Week 9.

After the brutal cold of Cleveland, the Las Vegas Raiders will be welcoming a short trip down to sunny Southern California to take on the Los Angeles Chargers. The current forecast says it will be about 60 degrees with 16 MPH winds but thanks to to the roof over SoFi Stadium that should not impact the game in any way.

What will impact the game, and the fantasy performances of the Raiders, will be the players on the field and there are plenty of good ones in this matchup. The Chargers are the classic “good-bad” team that has enough talent to take leads and win games but just can’t quite put it all together. They have lost three straight games in which they have lead by 17 points which has never happened in NFL history so they are taking their late game screw-ups to historic levels.

Despite their mistakes, the Chargers have talent and difference makers on both sides of the ball and while they don’t excel in any one category they are well-rounded. This is however a defense that is 19th and 18th in points and yards given up respectively so it is one that the Raiders should be able to move and score on which is a good sign for your fantasy hopes.

Now that the wind and rain of Week 8 is behind us, let’s see whether you should sit or start your Raiders fantasy players for Week 9 of the 2020 NFL season.
