Tight Ends

Darren Waller – Start ‘Em

Darren Waller had a low key fantasy performance against the Browns thanks mostly to the weather as he had 5 catches for just 27 yards. He had a drop early on in the game but it would not have made much of a difference to his overall stat line. Cleveland gives up the 12th most points to tight end so it was unfortunate that the weather foiled what could have been a great performance.

This week he comes up against a Chargers team that gives up the 10th most points to tight ends so the potential for a big game is certainly there if his target trends continue. The Chargers have also given up four touchdowns to tight ends so far so there is even more reason to believe Waller will have a big week. Keep the big man in your starting lineup.

Jason Witten/Foster Moreau – Sit ‘Em

We had a Jason Witten appearance as the veteran tight end made two tough catches for 21 yards on Sunday. He was actually third on the team with that yardage total so kudos to him for making those catches and getting two first downs.
