The Las Vegas Raiders continue to have issues up front along the offensive line, and that could play a big factor in Sunday’s matchup in LA.

Coming into the 2020 NFL season, one of the strengths of this Las Vegas Raiders team was their offensive line. Returning all five starters from a year ago, the Raiders were supposed to have one of the elite units in all of football, but that is just not how it has worked out.

In fact, the starting five for this team has appeared in only a handful of snaps together, and it seems like each week, something else goes wrong. Between injuries and COVID-19, the Raiders offensive line has been patchwork each week for Tom Cable, though they still continue to play at a high level.

Whether it is John Simpson, Denzelle Good, or Brandon Parker, guys are stepping into a starting role and helping this team win. Last weekend, Parker did not even think he would be active for the game, yet he had to step in when Trent Brown had a medical emergency before the game, and ended up playing in nearly 70 percent of the snaps.

This has certainly been a next-man-up mentality for this group, and that could continue in Week 9
