Looking Ahead

Another week, another AFC West Divisional matchup on deck as the Raiders welcome the Denver Broncos to Allegiant Stadium for the first game this season between the two rivals. After leading a comeback victory the week prior, quarterback Drew Lock couldn’t emulate the same type of magic in Week 9 as the Broncos fell 34-27 to the Atlanta Falcons.

For the Raiders, next week’s matchup against Denver is a great opportunity to capitalize on the softer schedule that lies ahead. Aside from Week 11’s primetime matchup against the Chiefs, Las Vegas is in a great position to potentially win each of the six remaining games on their schedule.

Whether that could come to fruition remains to be seen, but racking up the wins would greatly help their chances at reaching the postseason, especially with the expanded number of playoff teams.
