Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: 2020 Week 10 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Quarterback

Derek Carr – Start ‘Em

Last week, we told you to start Derek Carr against a leaky Chargers pass defense, but little did we know that the Raiders would be without their two starting tackles. The offensive line did its best in the running game, but struggled at times in pass protection, and Carr did not have the usual time he does to pick defenses apart.

Despite the injuries on the line, Carr still came through with a solid performance in real life, but in fantasy had just 14 total points. He threw for 165 yards and two touchdowns, but lost a fumble, and attempted just 23 passes as the Raiders went with a run-heavy offense due to their injuries on the offensive line.

This week, Carr gets a Broncos defense that generates consistent pressure and doesn’t give up a lot of passing touchdowns, but has given up the 8th most fantasy points to quarterbacks so far this season. If Kolton Miller is back in the lineup, then that should free up Brandon Parker to play RT, and save Carr from having to deal with Sam Young, who has struggled mightily in pass protection this season.

Carr also has a good record against the Broncos, and last year threw for 650 yards and two touchdowns in his two games against them. He has thrown 12 touchdowns and just four interceptions against Denver in 11 games, so all the signs point to another good performance for Carr in Week 10.
