Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 things to watch in Week 10

Ruggs vs. Jeudy

Going into the 2020 NFL Draft, the Raiders biggest need was a star wide receiver, something they lacked in a big way in 2019 when the wide receiver room was a revolving door. The three big names of that class were Oklahoma’s CeeDee Lamb and both Henry Ruggs III and Jerry Jeudy from Alabama, all of which would have been an excellent addition to the Raiders position group.

The Raiders struck first, selecting Ruggs, a deep threat with blazing speed who was an outstanding route-runner at Alabama. Three picks later, Jeudy came off the board, becoming the second wide receiver selected, and the teammate will have their first go-around against each other this Sunday in Vegas.

Jeudy and Ruggs have a close bond, and the fact that they are both playing in the AFC West will make for some fireworks on Sunday. They both bring something special to the table, and while Jeudy has the better stats at this point, Ruggs will be expected to play a bigger role moving forward, and it could start in Week 10 against the Raiders rival, and his former teammate.
