4 reasons the Las Vegas Raiders will beat the Denver Broncos in Week 10

The Broncos have trouble protecting the QB but the Raiders excel at it

The Raiders have had some problems protecting Derek Carr this year, but are still in the top-15 in sacks given up and sack percentages when attempting to drop back for a pass. Despite the rotating cast on the offensive line, Carr has been pressured on just 17% of his dropbacks, which puts him at 8th in the NFL in that category.

Carr has also been hit the third-fewest among players in the top-10 in pressure percentage so he has done well to get rid of the ball before a defender gets to him

The Broncos are considerably worse than the Raiders in all of these categories, and that should give the Raiders struggling pass rush some hope for Sunday. The Broncos have given up 21 sacks this season and have allowed sacks on 6.6% of dropbacks, which puts them at 21st and 20th in the NFL in those categories.

Drew Lock has also been pressured on 23.2% of his dropbacks, putting him at 24th in the NFL, which could be a combination of a struggling offensive line and a young QB not reading defenses and adjusting his protections. The young QB is also struggling with his accuracy as mentioned earlier that is exacerbated when he is pressured inside the pocket.

Lock leads the NFL in bad-throw percentage and has one of the worst completion percentages among starting QBs. If the Raiders can get to Lock consistently, and his offensive line seems likely to oblige, they can make his poor accuracy issues even more of an issue for the Bronco offense.
