2021 NFL Mock Draft: Las Vegas Raiders continue to bolster defense

player. 53. . Linebacker. Cleveland Browns. Nick Bolton. 17

The Browns are finally starting to put it together and take advantage of the talent that they have on offense, but their defense still struggles at times. The biggest hole on the defense is at linebacker, as Mack Wilson has been a liability for the team. They look to replace him with Missouri’s Nick Bolton, a sideline to sideline guy who could help lead that side of the ball.

46. . Wide Receiver. Indianapolis Colts. Jaylen Waddle. 18. player

As of now, the Indianapolis Colts WR1 is T.Y. Hilton, who has struggled greatly this season and is clearly on the decline. If the Colts want to see their passing game thrive, they need to get a legit threat at the position. Alabama receivers have not disappointed in the NFL, and Jaylen Waddle will be no different.

19. player. 54. . Offensive Lineman. Philadelphia Eagles. Creed Humphrey

The Eagles need to find out if Carson Wentz is their franchise QB sooner rather than later, and the only way of doing that is by surrounding him with talent. The Eagles took WR Jalen Reagor in the first round last year, so they get him protection this time around, but if Wentz is not the guy, this could end up being Creed Humphrey’s former Oklahoma teammate Jalen Hurts team.

Arizona Cardinals. Marvin Wilson. 20. player. 32. . Defensive Tackle

The Arizona Cardinals have been one of the surprise teams of this season, with a high power offense led by quarterback Kyler Murray. The Cardinals need to build a defense that can get stops for the offense when needed, and although the defense has been solid, they could use some interior help on the line. They get some with Marvin Wilson from Florida State.
