Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos banged up heading into matchup
By Brad Weiss
The Las Vegas Raiders and Denver Broncos will both have to navigate injuries if they hope to come away with a crucial AFC West victory.
Hoping to move to 6-3 on the season, the Las Vegas Raiders will play host to the Denver Broncos inside Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. The Raiders are coming off two straight road victories, and have played great outside of Vegas, but have still yet to make the Death Star a home-field advantage in 2020.
Their opponent on Sunday, the Broncos, are in the middle of an up and down season, coming into this game sitting at 3-5. Like the Raiders, Denver is dealing with a handful of injuries, and each team navigating their issues in terms of the injury report will prove to be the difference in this one.
Raiders defensive tackle Maurice Hurst has been ruled out, as he has been dealing with an ankle injury, but the team is getting Maliek Collins back. Denver are hobbled at wide receiver, with Jerry Jeudy and Diontae Spencer both trying to play through shoulder injuries, and cornerback Bryce Callahan is also a bit banged up due to an ankle issue.
More importantly, both teams are having issues up front on offense.
