The Raiders’ lack of forced turnovers is their most concerning defense issue (only 5 this season), outside the pass rush. Now obviously, the more you impact the quarterback, the higher chance you have of forcing turnovers, but the Raiders, in general, don’t have any ballhawks on their defense.

With Erik Harris becoming a free agent this offseason, the Raiders will be in a nice spot to replace and possibly upgrade at the position. Andre Cisco could be precisely what the Raiders need on the backend. He defines a ballhawk with 13 career interception and 14 pass breakups during his time at Syracuse.

As a deep safety, he would be a great complement to Johnathan Abrams and make quarterback think twice about throwing deep over the middle.

Cisco’s 2020 season was cut short by an ACL tear, but I still think he is a player worth taking despite the injury. Las Vegas needs to begin forcing turnovers and preventing big plays as they continue to face Patrick Mahomes and what looks like a rising star in Justin Herbert; Cisco provides those skills in an elite way. His tackling is inconsistent, but he more than makes up for it with high impact plays.
