Las Vegas Raiders complete 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft

208. player. 808. . Linebacker. Trojans . Palaie Gaoteote IV

#208 – Palaie Gaoteote IV – Linebacker, USC

A highly touted recruit coming out of high school, Palaie Gaoteote IV has played plenty at USC, but his overall skill has not been developed in the way trojan fans hoped. Unusual athleticism for his size (6’2, 250lbs), Gaoteote has all the physical skills you would want but lacks big time in the game’s mental aspect.

He is a project now but has some traits worth taking a risk on in the seventh round.

812. . Tight End. Buckeyes . Luke Farrell. 214. player

With the Raiders losing both Jason Witten and Derek Carrier to free agency and no real need to bring them back, Las Vegas could use another blocking tight end. Luke Farrell has excelled in that role at Ohio State and has become almost essential for the buckeyes both in pass protection and run blocking.

He doesn’t get many chances to catch the ball, but Ohio State doesn’t use any of their tight ends in the passing game, so perhaps there is some untapped potential. But if not, he’s still a great third tight end option for blocking.
