Las Vegas Raiders X-Factors against the Denver Broncos in Week 10

Henry Ruggs III

The Denver Broncos have a good group of players on defense to contain Darren Waller, so Derek Carr is going to have to look elsewhere for his playmaker. Nelson Agholor will likely get WR1 attention, so this is the week that Henry Ruggs will show out.

Hopefully, the Raiders find a way to use Ruggs outside of just deep balls and end arounds, using him on slants and screens and allowing him to use his speed to record YAC. At some point, the Carr and Ruggs connection will start to click, and this week will be that week.

With the lack of starting offensive linemen, Carr may not have time to wait for the big plays to develop, so this could be the week we see Ruggs incorporated in the short passing game. Either way, he has to play a big role if the Raiders are going to win on Sunday, and all signs point to him doing just that in Week 10.
