AFC West Week 11 preview and predictions: Raiders vs. Chiefs in Primetime

Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders (SNF)

In the marquee matchup of the Week 11 slate in the AFC West, the Las Vegas Raiders will play host to division rival Kansas City in primetime on Sunday Night Football. The Raiders are coming off three straight victories, including two on the road against Cleveland and the Los Angeles Chargers, but the Chiefs are coming off their bye week, a spot where they usually dominate.

In addition, the Raiders stated on Tuesday that Clelin Ferrell and Lamarcus Joyner would be added to the COVID-19 list, so they could be out on Sunday. The Raiders defense is finally turning a corner, and not having them against Patrick Mahomes and this Chiefs offense could spell big trouble for the Silver and Black.

Despite that, I still like Las Vegas in this one, and with the win, the Raiders get their first season sweep of the Chiefs since 2012, as they continue their run up the standings in the AFC West. They have a legitimate shot to make some real noise in the conference this season, and Sunday night will be another statement win for Derek Carr and the rest of his Raiders teammates.
