Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: 2020 Week 11 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em
Derek Carr – Start ‘Em
The Raiders are 3-1 since the bye week and have been rolling on offense but unfortunately for Derek Carr fantasy owners, he hasn’t exactly lit up the scoresheet with his numbers. Carr won’t care one bit about his numbers as long as the team is winning but despite throwing three touchdowns in his last three games, he has not thrown for more than 165 yards in any of those contests.
That leads us to a question of whether that trend will continue or if Carr will have a similar game to the Week 5 matchup where he threw for 347 yards and three touchdowns? The Raiders will do their best to control the clock and keep Patrick Mahomes off the field with the run game but they will know how explosive KC is and will need to match that firepower.
Even in that game where Carr aired it out, he attempted just 31 passes but happened to connect on two big touchdowns to Henry Ruggs and Nelson Agholor. His 11.68 air yards per attempt that game was the highest of his career and the Raiders will likely go for a similar approach this time around.
We can expect Carr to have another big game in the box score considering the conditions will be in his favor and he should be able to take advantage of a KC secondary that was very generous in the previous matchup.
