Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: 2020 Week 11 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Wide Receivers

Henry Ruggs – Start ‘Em

Henry Ruggs is having a strange rookie season as he is on pace for about 30 receptions and 500 yards and just two touchdowns but has played a big role in the success of the Raiders offense. It’s difficult to know if the Raiders are just trying to protect Ruggs by limiting his touches or if he is having trouble grasping the offense.

He had a decent game against Denver with 3 catches for 31 yards on 4 targets but also dropped a potential long touchdown in the first quarter. It’s far too soon to judge Ruggs as he has dealt with injury and did not have a real offseason so more patience is required from Raider Nation and his fantasy owners.

Ruggs had his best game of the season against KC in Week 5 with 118 yards and a touchdown so roll the dice on him doing the same kind of damage and he may reward with you a big day.

Bryan Edwards – Sit ‘Em

Bryan Edwards made an appearance on the stat sheet with one catch for 16 yards and it was nice to see him back in action. He was on the field for just 28% of the offense’s snaps but there are just are not enough targets to go around for him to make any fantasy impact.

Hunter Renfrow – Sit ‘Em

Hunter Renfrow was targeted just twice against the Broncos and still came through with 30 yards and a first down. He had a similar game against Kansas Ciy in Week 5 so he would be a risky play at this point. Keep him on your bench unless you expect this game to get out of hand early.

Nelson Agholor – Start ‘Em

What could have been a decent day for Nelson Agholor was soured by an ugly drop in the end zone in the second quarter. Agholor was targeted 4 times but made just one catch for 8 yards. Had he caught the short touchdown it would have put him at close to double digits in PPR leagues instead of the less than two points he put up on Sunday.

Agholor is getting the targets to justify a place in your lineup and if he held on that touchdown pass it would’ve been his sixth on the year which would put him among the top 10 in the NFL. He is falling just short of being a good fantasy receiver and deserves another shot against a KC defense that he torched for a big touchdown in Week 5.
