Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders: 3 Bold predictions for Week 11

The defense plays well once again

The Raiders defense played outstanding last Sunday against the Denver Broncos, as they totaled five turnovers, four of them interceptions, got pressure on Drew Lock, and only allowed six points until late in the fourth quarter.  Of course, the Broncos moved the ball on them sometimes, but they were able to get the stops they needed.

In the Week 5 game against the Chiefs, it was the tale of two halves for the defense, 24 points allowed in the first half, and eight allowed in the second, and that was also in the fourth quarter.

The defensive line did a great job pressuring Patrick Mahomes in that game, and even though they didn’t get him down too many times, he was very uncomfortable in that second half.  I don’t think the defense holds the Chiefs offense to six points until the fourth quarter like they did last week, but I do think this defense is improving slowly but surely, so they once again will slow down this Chiefs offense even with a decent amount of starters aren’t practicing this week.
