We sat down with Arrowhead Addicts expert Matt Conner recently to discuss the Week 11 matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs.

In a game that will have huge playoff ramifications, the Las Vegas Raiders will play host to the Kansas City Chiefs in a Sunday Night Football matchup in Week 11. To get prepared for this game, we sat down with the talented Matt Conner, the site expert of Arrowhead Addict.

We spoke with Matt about the Raiders improvements, the rivalry in general, and what his thoughts are heading into the matchup.

JustBlogBaby: Are KC fans surprised by the Raiders improvements this season?

Matt Conner: Absolutely. Every year you hear the same things from Denver and Oakland (now LV) about how the last few years that new additions among players or coaches will make the difference, and every year yields the same predictable results of a very clear delineation between the Chiefs and the rest of the division.

The Chargers are doing what they do this year again. The Broncos can blame injuries, but they’re predictable as well. But I don’t think anyone in K.C. thought Jon Gruden would ever coach a team better than .500 after 16 games again.

It remains to be seen how the Raiders will finish, but that win opened a lot of eyes.
