Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: Week 12 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Running Backs

Josh Jacobs – Start ‘Em

Josh Jacobs had another solid outing on Sunday night but only because he was able to score a touchdown for his low yardage total. Some of that was game script as Derek Carr had the passing offense humming so the Raiders and Gruden got away from the run as they were not having as much success on the ground as they had against Denver and Los Angeles.

Though he didn’t have the biggest night against KC, the Falcons give up 4.4 yards a carry but are surprisingly good against the run. Some of that is teams choosing to focus on throwing the ball because of how vulnerable the Falcons are in that department.

Still, you have to roll with your horses and trust that a top tier back like Jacobs will come through with a great day against a bad defense.

Devontae Booker – Sit ‘Em

Devontae Booker was unable to find the same success he had against Denver as he had just five carries against the Chiefs. Booker may have to rely on the Raiders putting up a big lead against a bad team so it’s possible they do so against Atlanta but we can’t count on that. Keep him on the bench even in a deep league.
