Las Vegas Raiders fantasy outlook: Week 12 Sit ‘Em or Start ‘Em

Defense and Special Teams

Daniel Carlson – Start ‘Em

Daniel Carlson continues to be automatic for the Raiders as he went 4-4 on extra points and went 1-1 on field goals. He has put together a great fantasy season and has been just as impactful in real life for one of the better offenses in the league.

Atlanta gives up a ton of points but is surprisingly giving up only the 19th-most fantasy points to kickers this year. Still, you could certainly do worse than a kicker who is averaging 10.4 points a week.

Las Vegas Raiders Defense – Sit ‘Em

The Raiders defense continues to struggle and is not worth even a streaming option this week against an Atlanta offense that still puts up plenty of yards and points despite their poor record. Their only hope is for Julio Jones to be ruled out of the game and for Matt Ryan to throw a few more interceptions as he already has seven on the year.

Next. What can Takkarist McKinley and Vic Beasley Jr. bring to the Raiders pass rush?. dark

Maybe they could sack him a couple times as the Falcons have trouble protecting him and force some turnovers to turn the tide and maybe even score their first defensive touchdown of the year. It would go a long way to help the Raiders win the game but we’ve learned by now that they can’t be counted on in fantasy or real life.
