Offensive Line Coach Tom Cable
The Raiders offensive line has been plagued with injuries, illness and shuffling spaces all season long, but they still continue to be one of the better units in the league. Week in and week out, Tom Cable has put together a game plan with whomever is ready to go on the offensive line, and he has put the best product on the field.
Cable’s greatest move so far this season is the emergence of third-year player Brandon Parker, a player who many had as a long shot to make the roster this year. Parker has filled in at left and right tackle, and has been highly impressive in the absence of Trent Brown and Kolton Miller.
With Richie Incognito out on season-ending IR, Cable has placed Denzelle Good at left guard, and the line hasn’t missed a beat. For a guy who was absolutely beaten down when he returned to the franchise, he has completely changed the narrative surrounding him, and could be in line for a head coaching job down the road.
