Las Vegas Raiders at Atlanta Falcons: 3 Players to watch in Week 12

Derek Carr

Raiders quarterback Derek Carr is playing at an extremely high level right now, and he is absolutely going to find room to operate against this Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. The Raiders’ offense has been a juggernaut for most of the season, and the play of No. 4 is a big reason why.

He has total control of the offense, and his audibles have been a joy to listen to. This is the first time in his career that he has had continuity, as every other year it was a new head coach or a new offensive coordinator, and it’s really hard to learn and master that many different offenses.

Also, he has had to deal with a lack of weapons, injuries, and horrible defensive play that have plagued him throughout his career with the Raiders.  The bottom line is if the defense played just a little bit better in a couple of spots he would be right up there in MVP talks with the likes of Patrick Mahomes, and Russell Wilson.

I can’t wait to see what he does this Sunday, and see if he can add to the incredible season he has already put together.
