Las Vegas Raiders at Atlanta Falcons: Studs and Duds from Week 12

Studs

Nick Kwiatkoski

Nick Kwiatkoski has been worth the money the Raiders paid him this offseason and is the answer to the middle linebacker question the Raiders have had for at least a decade.  Kwiatkoski finished the game with five tackles, a sack, and two tackles for a loss, proving to be a menace on the defensive side of the ball once again.

There aren’t many positive to take away from this game, but the performance of a couple defensive players give hope for the rest of the season.

Nicholas Morrow

Nicholas Morrow is one of the veterans on this Raiders team, and he is starting to get more and more playing time. Since taking over due to COVID-19 issues on the defense, Morrow has been a bright spot for Las Vegas, and he had another solid game on Sunday against the Falcons.

Against Atlanta, he led the Raiders in tackles with ten and two pass deflections. Morrow is a tremendous story, and he will play a huge role in this defense moving forward.

Johnathan Abram

It’s good when you see a young player take a devastating mistake from a week ago, put it behind him, and play better.  It’s not that Johnathan Abram played extremely well in this game, but he did have a key interception early on off an Isaiah Johnson tip. It was good to see Abram turn the page from last week because the Raiders certainly need him at his best the rest of the way.
