Las Vegas Raiders: Will history repeat itself in 2020?

Penalties were a killer

Can we also talk about the penalties?

11 penalties for over 140 yards is unacceptable for a 6-3 team looking to go to the playoffs. Even more unacceptable is when you also factor in 0-for-2 in the red zone and a fantastic 5 turnovers, 4 of which were lost fumbles.

What a positively sloppy and ugly game by the Raiders. I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose to the winless Jets next week even with how much of a mess they are right now. I completely dropped the ball on this game. I didn’t follow my gut which was Atlanta because Raiders games usually wind up going against what my gut tells me.

This team is really going to have to come out blazing next week and blow the doors off the Jets. Their season depends on it. If we look at their remaining schedule, they could honestly lose out if they’re not careful.
