Las Vegas 2021 3-round mock draft: Raiders steal OL in second round

80. player. 834. . Safety. Hurricanes . Bubba Bolden

A transfer from USC, Bubba Bolden burst onto the scene for the Miami Hurricanes during the 2019 college football season, proving to be a playmaker from his safety position. In six games with Miami, Bolden forced three turnovers, including one interception, and showed he can be strong against the pass, and the run.

Unfortunately, he has struggled with being consistent since arriving in South Beach, but in terms of physical ability, he has everything you look for in a prototypical NFL safety. Standing at 6-foot-3, and weighing 200 pounds, he has no problem coming up and making plays against the run, something that would help this Raiders defense out immensely.

The Raiders once again have major issues in the secondary, and a player like Bolden, who has some learning to do, would be an excellent addition in the middle alongside Johnathan Abram. He has the talent to be a first-round player if he stays in school one more year, but if he does come out, getting him in the third round would be a win for the Silver and Black.
