AFC West 2020 Week 13 predictions: Raiders get back on track

Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs

In the only AFC West battle of the weekend, Drew Lock and the Denver Broncos will actually go into their game on the road against Kansas City with legitimate quarterbacks to play. Lock and the rest of the quarterback room were forced to miss the team’s blowout loss to the New Orleans Saints due to COVID protocol, but they will all be cleared for this one.

It won’t matter, as Patrick Mahomes is playing like a god right now, and the Chiefs look pretty much unbeatable. He averaged nearly 400 yards per game during November and has only two interceptions this season, both coming against the Las Vegas Raiders.

On Sunday, Mahomes is going to shred up this Broncos defense, and Lock won’t have enough time to make reads and keep up with this juggernaut of a team. Expect this one to get ugly around the third quarter, with the Chiefs winning by more than three touchdowns.

Prediction: Chiefs 42, Broncos 20
