Las Vegas Raiders at New York Jets: 3 things to watch in Week 13

Pass protection

Under perfect circumstances where the roster is completely healthy, this Raiders offensive line is arguably the best in the league. But of course, nothing is perfect, and injuries have battered Las Vegas’ o-line this season. For the most part, the roster depth has proven to hold its own, but last week’s loss was the first gaffe by this offensive line: five sacks surrendered, with three taken by Derek Carr.

The offense is what will carry this team to a potential playoff appearance, and the pass protection will be key to watch on Sunday. Las Vegas relies on being able to move the ball downfield through the air to compliment Josh Jacobs in the backfield, but all is a lost cause if Carr is consistently being pressured.
