The Las Vegas Raiders travel East once again, this time to take on the New York Jets, who shocked them in a 34-3 rout during the 2019 campaign.

The Las Vegas Raiders are traveling to play the winless New York Jets on Sunday in a game the Raiders need to win to stay in playoff contention. With Kansas City running away with the AFC West, the Raiders are looking at a Wild Card and really control their own destiny.

The Indianapolis Colts, Miami Dolphins, and Cleveland Browns are currently in the running for those two spots, but the Raiders have already beaten the Browns, and they have a matchup with the Colts and Dolphins on the horizon.

This week, the Raiders have an important game to show they aren’t the team that lost 43-6 last week to a much lesser team. Las Vegas needs to come out and show the NFL they mean business, and they can beat up a bad team when they need to.

As it stands, the New York Jets have the worst record in the NFL at 0-11. However, every Raiders fan remembers the nightmare in Metlife Stadium last year.

Derek Carr should rebound against a Jets team that doesn’t have much to fight for, as they’ve been eliminated from the playoffs, and are looking to get the first pick of the 2021 NFL draft. Although their record is 0-11, their defensive line will surely be after Carr all game long from the interior. This should also be a ‘get right’ game against a Jets offense near the bottom in every offensive category.

Here are three New York Jets the Raiders need to watch out for this Sunday.
