3 New York Jets the Las Vegas Raiders should worry about in Week 13

Jamison Crowder, Wide Receiver

Jamison Crowder is the Jets leading receiver with 456 yards and nearly half coming on yards after the catch (206). However, the scariest thing about him is his yards per catch is 13. For the season, he has 19 first downs and is the No.1 third-down target on the team, posting 35 receptions, three touchdowns, and only one drop.

The biggest issue on the Las Vegas Raiders continues to be the secondary. Trayvon Mullen and Damon Arnette continue to struggle in press coverage, and the defense overall has a hard time stopping the pass. Last week, even with Julio Jones out and Calvin Ridley not at 100%, Matt Ryan still threw for 185 yards and two touchdowns.

Despite losing 43-6, the defense did not play terribly, but they were consistently put in tough positions by the offense.

The Jets don’t have a high-flying offense, and won’t be lighting up the scoreboard, but we also said that about the Falcons last week. Let’s also not forget that last year the Jets weren’t a good team either, yet they punched the Raiders in the mouth and was a key reason why the Raiders missed the playoffs.

At this point in the season, every game matters, and the Raiders need to force the Jets to run the ball and allow the linebackers to take control of the game.
