Las Vegas Raiders at New York Jets: 3 bold predictions

Defense holds the Jets under ten points

For the most part, the Raiders’ defense has been disappointing this season, led by two free-agent pickups who were supposed to be leaders on this team. Maliek Collins has been atrocious and is out this week against the Jets, and Cory Littleton just has not been the player the Raiders were hoping for.

Still, this is a Jets offense that is downright putrid and put up only three points against the Miami Dolphins this past weekend. The Raiders have enough talent on defense to force Darnold into mistakes and force turnovers, and they could put together their best game of the season against a lowly opponent.

Las Vegas needs this win if they are going to have any chance of making the playoffs, and to be honest, a loss to the Jets puts the franchise back in terms of their development. I expect this team to go out and pummel this Jets team, especially with the fact that Derek Carr and company know the feeling of losing walking out of Metlife with a shocking defeat.
