With the signing of cornerback Daryl Worley, the Las Vegas Raiders are bringing in reinforcements for a banged-up secondary.

The Las Vegas Raiders are in a win-now mode to make the playoffs, and they brought in a former player to try and make that happen this week. The Indianapolis Colts are coming to Las Vegas in a game that Las Vegas has to win to keep their playoff hopes alive, and will have to do so with a banged-up secondary.

Last week, the Colts’ wide receivers ran circles around the Texans’ defense, as T.Y Hilton found the endzone twice, along with 110 yards. Rookie receiver Michael Pittman has been playing lights out the past few weeks, catching over 350 yards and a touchdown in the past four games as well.

The Colts also have solid pass-catching options in running backs Johnathon Taylor and Nyheim Hines as well,  who is leading the team in receptions.

Currently, the injury report hasn’t been updated for Week 14, but one can assume that the signing of Daryl Worley spells disaster for the Raiders’ secondary. Last week, Damon Arnette had a full practice on Friday, but only played on the first series of the game after a hit on Frank Gore ended his day on the first drive.

Head coach Gruden also said in a statement that Arnette probably wouldn’t play this weekend against the Colts, and with Johnathan Abram likely out again, as well as Isaiah Johnson dealing with a groin injury, this is a secondary that will be very shorthanded this weekend.
